McDonald's Sued Possibly Cancer Risky Products
The suit is yet another legal headache for McDonald's. On Friday, the fast food giant got court approval for an $8.5 million settlement in another California lawsuit alleging it failed to inform the public about delays in its efforts to come up with a healthier cooking oil. The company has also been hit with suits charging its food causes obesity.

California's attorney general Bill Lockyer on Friday sued a handful of restaurant and food companies -- including Oak Brook-based McDonald's Corp. -- charging they failed to warn consumers about acrylamide, a chemical the state says causes cancer.
