Hilary Duff Sued By Canadian Clothing Firm

Hilary’s mom and manager, Susan Duff ahs been recently sued for breach of contract by the Canadian clothing firm, NTD Apparel.


The firm claims that Susan Duff violated an exclusive merchandising deal for her daughter’s fashion line and indented a lawsuit worth millions of dollars.

Duffs’ entertainment company, Rafter H, apparently violated his agreement with NTD for Stuff by Hilary Duff, by allegedly cutting side deals with retailers. Rafter H denied, stating the lawsuit was “without merit” and that they’re planning a counter-suit against NTD, the Daily News reports.

Duff launched her clothing line, “Stuff By Duff” on March 12, 2004 with clothes distributed through Target stores in the United States and Australia, and Zellers in Canada.
